Set in a quiet backwater. This cottage dates back to the early 17th century. However we have tried to retain many original features throughout. Making the most of Whitby it's superb location is an ideal setting for the town centre and all the facilities yet you could laze away the days in the garden and think you were in the country as its set in a quiet area with enclosed walled garden.

3 mins walk to short stay car park - pay and display.
5 mins walk to harbour side and pier.
4 mins walk to supermarket and shops.
6 mins walk to west cliff which leads to the beach.

If required, we can rent a private parking bay for your car next to the cottage.

Paddock Cottage sleeps up to 5 persons.

The cottage has a cosy lounge area with TV and DVD player, fully fitted kitchen (washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, pine table and seating), gas central heating and double glazing.

There is a bathroom with an iron bath, separate step in power shower corner cabin and WC.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms in total over two floors

• 1st floor: Master double bedroom sleeps 2 with en-suite w.c and washbasin, TV/DVD Combi
• 2nd floor: Stairs lead up directly into the single bedroom - sleeps 1. Walk through this into the second double bedroom - sleeps 2 and has a  portable TV.

The cottage has a South-facing fully enclosed garden which features a patio area with table and chairs on one side and a lawned area on the other side. There is a high standard of furnishings throughout and the property has open-beamed ceilings, wooden floors and fitted carpets in bedrooms.

Services:

Full gas central heating is provided free of charge and the cottage is double-glazed.
Electricity is supplied with a key you only pay for what you use.
All linen is provided but NO towels are provided, please bring your own towels.
The cottage is pet-friendly and pets can be brought free of charge.
